Time for A New Schedule?

My kiddos are busy learning how to tell time to the hour, half hour, and quarter hour. This can be a tricky concept for some of them. Here is a visual schedule of a typical day for us, created by the students. They chose important events from throughout the day to illustrate and label with the time in analogue and digital format. Throughout the day, they can look at the clock and match it to one of the events up on our schedule. So far, it is getting lots of use!

  2. Hi Robyn!

I found you at Teaching is a Gift's Blog By Province Linky - I'm an Ontario blogger, too, and your newest follower!

You have some really great ideas & resources! I'm moving from grade 5 to a 2/3 next year, so I'll be visiting again to figure out what the heck I'm doing! ;)

    1. Hi Erin! I am now following your blog :) I have a lot to learn about upkeep. It is my goal for next year to keep posting on my blog and on blogs of my fellow teachers.

Let me know if you need anything for next year! I only taught grade 2 for this year, but I LOVED it. Great age, great curriculum. I would be happy to share anything with you. :)

Where abouts in Ontario do you teach? I am in Brampton.
